Doctor Awkward Forum
I've added word verification to the comments. I know it's a pain in the ass but I'd rather have it on than get spam comments like I got tonight(two of them). Stupid fucking spammer comments.
Hello All my loyal and prestigious readers.......Ya, Ok. Anyways, I have created a board over at http://doctorawkward.proboards100.com , I figured that I'll still update the Blog here but I'll try to filter the higher-commented posts over to the Forum. I'll also post all rants from the Doctor Awkward Blog over at the forum too, just in case. It seems to be a pretty easy board to use and I'm pretty sure you don't even have to sign up to post (But please do). The link to the Docor Awkward Forum is both in this post and also permanently in the sidebar to the right=======>
I've also added a TagBox, or whatever it's called, also at the right. It will allow you guys to leave notes or messages without clicking any comment box. Basically, it's for general chat or just general bullshit. Do what you wish with it, just keep it somewhat clean, or I'll have to just open my arsenal of swear words. It is updated automatically so it is basically an instant messenger. Which means that if a couple of you sign on at the same time you can bitch about me with each other or slam each other or whatever. I realize it's a little gay and Myspacey, but hey, it's something new. (If I am home, which I usually am, I'll have the Blog site open. So, if you want to use the tag board, check and make sure the message "The Doctor is in..." followed by a time. If there is no "The Doctor is out..." followed by a time, I'm still there).

All religions are equal paths to God, right? Wrong. Here's why

GREAT! It is a REVIEW, that is sooo helpful, it is nice to read things that the book says without any background, here i was excited to actually read something interesting and instead it was just claims with no background... Psuconservative, did you read the book? I would be curious to see what the book says, despite the fact that i would be against it (being Jewish and all). The way i see it: Believe any religion you want, it seems difficult, at best, to find hard hitting evidence for why one religion is more right than the other, i think that if you are an overall decent human being, you are fine by me, and if you love jesus, or don't accept him as the son of G-d, or like Buddha or worship cows, or freaking science, it's all fine by me, just dont try to push that shit onto me.
I feel like i'm quickly becoming the liberal asshole everyone likes to hate on this site. That's cool with me though.
No no no, Alex, you got it all wrong. We don't hate you because you are a liberal, we hate you cause you're a Jew....hahahahahah, I'm just kidding, I personally think selective racist jokes are good for the heart. Anyways, I tend to agree with you when it comes to the "one" true religion thing. There is no way for someone to be able to tell someone else that their religion is the way for them. You can only tell them what it has done for you. I am a devout "Catholic" (a Maronite Rite to be exact) and I personally know that MY religion IS the one true way. I know it is. I have no doubts whatsoever. But I have no proof other than my Faith in Jesus, thats about all there is. I would be very interested though, in reading this book and seeing what this guy has to say before making any conclusions on it. Thanks for the comments!

I know what you mean, i'm also convinced that Judaism is the way to go, but more than that, i am convinced that just being a good person is enough, and whether you embrace the torah, or jesus, or mohammed or buddha is a very, VERY secondary. ill keep posting and pissing people off. have a good friday night.

The Maronit Rite is the very first Rite of the Catholic Church. Founded around 400 A.D. in the mountains of Lebanon my Father Maron. The Maronites followed him and eventually were "Catholicized", I think, within the last 250 years. Its much more like Orthodox, as it is an Eastern Rite, the masses are said in Syriac (a form of ancient Aramaic). It is also based in the Church of Antioch, which was the ancient see of Peter. It is a VERY old religion. Check it out here...
