Rainbow?

I have been wondering lately (after a discussion at a restaurant at 2 in the morning) , about the use of the rainbow to signify your sexual orientation. I must say, I don't care if you're gay. Neither does anyone else. Why then is it so pertinent to shove it in my face? I have recently read in the Collegian that one kid is afraid to walk around campus because he is worried about retaliation for his sexual orentation. Now, that is odd to me. If I'm walking on campus, and I don't see a rainbow hanging off your damn bookbag, I don't know if your gay or not. And again, not that I fucking care either. I guess my point is, I don't care about gay people. I don't care about straight people. What you do PRIVATELY is your own business, but when you begin to announce the fact that your gay, for no other reason than to shove it in everyone's faces, then I have a problem with it. F you, I say. If you have a problem with the way people react to your gayness then take the damn rainbow and shove it directly up your ass, girls and boys. Quit trying to get everyone to like you. Forced tolerance will only bring about greater hatred, disgust and spite. Not everyone in this world is going to like you, nor are they going to respect you for what you do. Why then, announce so defiantly that you are gay, then whine like a bitch when people have a problem with it??? Seriously....WTF

Spring break is next week and I'll try to write the blog daily as I am not going to be participating in any debaucherous activities. Remember folks, today is Ash wednesday and the begining of Lent. Make the sacrifice as he did. And that's the end of my rant.
