5:33 The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter; (Beware, the picture linked here is very graphic)

See also 8:12-16, Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them....

I would like to show you, wait for it, MORE on this subject of Islam. Kathy Heel, in her letter to me, wrote of Iran as a democratic country. I would like to show you a few things. This is the first:
I realize that the picture is propaganda, but the penal code that is contained within it is NOT. Iran's penal code encompasses all Islamic law. This is no democracy, it is an Islamic Theocracy bent on destroying all who don't believe.

Women sentenced to death by stoning are buried in the ground up to their necks. Iranian law regulates the size of the stones used by the executioner crowd; stones cannot be big enough to kill the sentenced woman too quickly, as the purpose of this barbaric ritual is to inflict as much pain as possible before death. On the other hand, stones cannot be too small, as each blow must be dramatically painful.
While stoning captures the imagination of Westerners as the most barbaric act committed under Shariah laws, other forms of sentencing perpetrated by the Islamic Republic are just as horrific. For example, Iran employs several types of body mutilation, from the amputation of hands, arms and legs to the macabre procedure of plucking out the eyeballs of the sentenced without the use of anesthetics. Several photos exist to document such occurrences, in dossiers kept by human rights organizations.

The text is linked to the site where I found the pictures and the text. Here are some more sites of interest for Kathy and our friend Jared. Maybe next time you decide to email me thinking that I am just some punk with no brain in his head, you'll think twice and realize that not everyone is running around spewing forth the garbage of propaganda that the both of you seem to love so much.

This isn't some joke we are dealing with radical Islam (and the teachings of Islam in general). It is evil. Some people don't want to know the truth, and those are the ones who will ultimately pay for their ignorance. I implore all of you to read the information on the sites I have provided and comment here on the Blog with whatever you find, whether good or bad. I want to discuss this with you people. I want to know what you all think.

Thanks,

Dr.Awkward

Nice blog Dr. Awkward. I have to 100% absolutely agree with that; but I think it brings up a subjec that Alex talked about earlier with religion. He bascially said it doesn't matter what religion you are as long as you believe in something.

What if I believe Islam is the right religion for me? Is it ok for me to kill people? Will God reward me? Absolutely NOT!!! I guess my point is is that it does matter what you believe, and that you just can't randomly come up w/ rights on wrongs by yourself. They are given by God. And I think we call all agree the things Islam does/teaches is some aspects are plain and simply EVIL!!!

Thanks psuconservative. I thought maybe there would be more people commenting about this in outrage or in aggreement. Regardless. I think Alex was referring to the nature of people, not necessarily their "religion" or belief. For instance, if one holds a good set of morals, does good for his fellow man, is charitable, is humble, is just generally good(what we should all be doing anyways) and is not a Christian, will they inevitably go to hell? I don't think so. I don't believe that is what Jesus taught. I just do not plain believe it. I do, however, believe that doing all of those things is made easy through Jesus and that is why I follow him as strictly as I possibly can. I love him for how easy he makes things and for what I believe he sacrificed to make that possible.

The issue of Islam is that it teaches hate and it teaches evil. It is not a religion, it is a cult of hate, a Middle Eastern Nazi Party, a Middle Eastern Ku Klux Klan.

Well said; and like I said earlier I agree that Islam does teach hate, and in a general respect is demonic!

ok, don't lash out on me here, but i have just heard from a "semi-credible" source that the koran is actually one of the most accepting pieces of religious writing and that all the radicalism really doesnt have much to do with the original intent of islam, i plan on checking up this, but i think that this is an interesting issue to examine. I mean we all know how radicalism in religions lead to general misconceptions about the entire religions as a whole. I have just come back from a weekend where i met an individual who was born catholic, then became a jew for jesus, then a rabbi for the jews for jesus for 12 years, and in 2001 converted to judaism. he is a very interesting and knowledgeable individual, i plan on emailing him and asking for his thoughts on islam... (we did not get a chance to discuss it really). but yeh, all im saying is, if you have a good source of unbiased koran-based material give it up. i havent gotten sleep in the last 40 hours, therefore i must ask that you pardon my ramble.

Alex, Sorry it took so long to reply.

The Koran, as I have been reading, is accepting and forgiving but only to those who repent and accept Allah and his messenger Mohammad. As you can see here, your judgement for turing your back on Allah is death, and it is justified in ALL Islamic Theocracies. The next verse, here, claims that you will not me murdered as long as you repent and believe in Allah and Mohammad. This type of Islamic Sharia is riddled throughout the Koran. If you think that this is accepting and forgiving then yes, the Koran is a peaceful text. However, when you realize that the alternative to repentance is dismemberment or crucifixion, Islam doesn't seem all too peaceful OR forgiving. Acting this out would not be radicalism for there is no misinterpreting what is clearly written, therefore it can not be radicalism for you are merely following your Holy Book.

I am afraid that the only unbiased source of Islam that you will find is the Koran itself. However, the website that I have listed on my sidebar, www.faithfreedom.org, may look like it is biased but if you spend some time reading the articles you will realize that all it is doing is giving you the resources to make up your mind about Islam. The problem with our society is that we only have one source for information on Islam, and that is the horribly biased media. They are dogs for Islam and it is ruining our nation and creating an Enemy Within.

Please realize that I am not spouting hate speech. I am only giving you guys the facts so you can make your own assumptions about the Religion of Death.

As for the man you are talking about, please let us know what he has to say, I am very intrigued.

Alex, if you want a Muslim perspective of this issue you could always look up Ibn Ishaq, a muslim historian who wrote in his book "The Life of the Apostle of God", this compelling piece of literature about the early years of Mohammad and his campaign(let me first state though, that although this book is the earliest known "biography" of Mohammad, it is still hotly contended in academia as to how accurate it really is):

Ibn Ishaq:572 “Muhammad is the man, an Apostle of my Lord. Evil was the state of our enemy so they lost the day. Fortunes change and we came upon them like lions from the thickets. The armies of Allah came openly, flying at them in rage, so they could not get away. We destroyed them and forced them to surrender. In the former days there was no battle like this; their blood flowed freely. We slew them and left them in the dust. Those who escaped were choked with terror. A multitude of them were slain. This is Allah’s war in which those who do not accept Islam will have no helper. War destroyed the tribe and fate the clan.”
See here for more pictures of archaic Islam being practiced in "modern" times. The blood is flowing freely in these Muslim Nations.

I am not making this stuff up.

I talked tonight to a Muslim student here at Penn State who asked me what my views were on Islam because he had briefly overheard me talking to another student who was attending the David Horowitz speech. I gave him the address here and I truly hope he joins in on the conversation. It would be a welcome wrench in the spokes.

Alex, here are two articles I think you should read:

Muslims Seminary Students torture Christian to death

and

Muslims slaughter 600 Christians

Note where these things are taking place. This is not the radical Middle East, this is the teaching of the Koran in human form.
