Rick Santelli is the Tea Master
I posted this video on my Gaycebook a month or two ago and completely forgot about it. Rick Santelli, a floor reporter for CNBC, made a great rant in February that essentially started the new Tea Party protests. He said, "We’re thinking of having a Chicago Tea Party in July. All you capitalists that want to show up to Lake Michigan, I’m gonna start organizing."I know this is old news for a lot of you out there, but it's good to remember where ideas like this come from. He's a good guy to keep an eye on...maybe he'll run for office some day.

Rick was also asked yesterday what he thought of all the Tea Parties that were springing up around the country. He had this to say:

I went to a Tea Party yesterday. I'm not rich. And no one hired me to go. I'm not sure I understood your post. It was pretty incoherent.
What people like yourself don't realize is that the spending bill's Trillion dollar budget is going to cause severe inflation because, frankly, we don't have that money. So the Gov't will borrow it from the Fed. The Fed doesn't have it, so they'll print it. Printing more money causes inflation. Inflation causes the dollars and cents in your pockets to be worth less than they were. That means that you essentially have less real worth than you did before. Isn't that what paying tax essentially is?
This tea party isn't just about the taxes you SEE on your receipts and W-4s, it's about every way the Gov't takes your money. Shouldn't that piss ALL of us off? Except the ones who rely on the Gov't...
That'll be 8 dollars."
